Brazil will only play at the largest stadia
ByAccording to the Folha de São Paulo newspaper (Na Copa-2014, Brasil só jogará nas maiores arenas), FIFA has decided Brazil will only play at the largest stadia in Brazil. Definite candidates to host Brazil are the stadium in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Brasilia and Belo Horizonte. Alternative candidates are Fortaleza, Salvador and Porto Alegre.
The cities that will not be seeing their national team playing (due to the small capacity of their stadia) are Manaus, Cuiabá, Curitiba, Recife and Natal.
It’s absolutely logical that the home nation should play at the largest stadia.
